The business originally started in Andy’s tiny home kitchen in Finsbury Park. He then setup a micro bakery in a local cafe before opening on Brecknock Road, London in 2017. The bakery was then expanded into the second site next door in 2021.
Bread by Bike are all about making super high quality and nourishing food for their local community. It all started with naturally fermented sourdough bread but has now grown to include cakes, pastries, our cafe menu, coffee and even a twice monthly evening tasting menu!
Did you know…
Each week the bakery mixes approximately 2,385kg of dough in their two spiral mixers. All of that dough is shaped by hand and baked for Bread by Bike customers by Andy’s amazing team!
